Method:Take puffed Bengal gram
and put it in a blender to grind it into
a fine powder. Add grated coconut, ginger, green chillies,
tamarind juice and water. Grind it to
a paste and add salt. Transfer the contents
into a bowl. Finally, season with mustard
seeds, a pinch of asafoetida and curry
leaves. Serve with hot idlis and dosas.
