FISH CURRY

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fish - 1 kg cleaned and cut into chunks
  2. Priyom fish masala powder - 4 tbsp
  3. Vegetable Oil / Coconut Oil - 100 ml (1/2 cup)
  4. Mustard Seeds - 1tbsp
  5. Shallots - 1 cup (sliced)
  6. Ginger - 2tbsp finely chopped
  7. Garlic - 6 cloves finely chopped
  8. Curry leaves - 2 stalks
  9. Green Chilli - 4 nos (chopped)
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. Kudampuli - 6 - 8 nos
  12. Water - 1.5 cups or as desired
  13. Salt - To taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION: Heat oil in a deep sauce pan. Add mustard seeds and allow them to crackle. Saute ginger, garlic, green chilli, shallots and curry leaves. Add Priyom Fish Masala and turmeric and mix well. Add water, kudampuli and salt. Allow it to boil. Put the fish pieces into it. Cook on a low flame for 15 - 20 mins or until done.
